Art Work
Drawings may be submitted via e-mail to art@signfaces.com. Please include your company name and phone number in the e-mail message.
Artwork must be a “line drawing” before we can create a sign. Our graphics department may be able to convert artwork to a line drawing if it is in one of the following file formats:
- .ai - Adobe Illustrator
- .eps - Encapsulated Post Script
- .dxf/.dwg - AutoCad
- .psd - Adobe Photoshop
- .swf - Macromedia Flash
- .cdr - Corel Draw
- .dsf - Corel Designer
- .plt - Gerber Omega
- .psp - Photo Shop Pro
- .fs - FlexiSIGN-PRO
Sign faces, LLC cannot convert bitmap (.bmp) or photos (.jpg) to line drawings. Images that have been scanned cannot be converted even if they have been saved in one of the above formats (i.e a scan (.bmp) saved as a Corel Draw (.cdr) format.)
Artwork may be mailed to the address listed on the "Contact Us" webpage. If artwork is mailed, please label the cd / dvd with the company name and the name of the job.
Regarding fonts:
We have thousands of fonts. However, since there are many newly created fonts, we may not always have the one's you require. The best solution is to “convert” the letters (fonts) in the drawings to line objects. Each software uses a different term for this such as “Curves”, “Paths”, “Outlines”. If you do not convert your fonts and if you have given us the name of the font, we will search the internet for it. If we find it, we will call you and ask your permission to download your fonts at a charge of $50 for each font.
Should you have questions, please contact our smiley face graphics staff at the number above.
