Warranty And Freight Claims

Product Warranty

Faces and cabinets and other signage products manufactured by faces are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of the invoice. Any material defects will be repaired or replaced during the first year without additional charge. Cost of removal and/or replacement will be your responsibility.

All component manufacturers warranties such as polycarbonate plastic, vinyl, paint, etc., will be passed on to you and will be in effect for the time period specified by the respective component manufacturer.

During the warranty period, you should notify faces of any defect prior to taking any action to repair any defect. Actions to repair the defect prior to notifying faces will void the warranty.

Freight Damage Claims

In the event freight damage is suspected, which may be indicated by damaged crates, missing or torn yellow plastic wrapping and other evidence, please do the following:

• If damage is evident, refuse the shipment.
• If you elect to accept the shipment with damage, note any damage on the delivery receipt and have the driver evidence the damage by adding his signature. Give the driver a copy of the delivery receipt with the damage noted. Send a copy of the receipt with damage noted and send us photos or evidence of damage. We will file the freight claim. You must keep the damaged item until we have notified you in writing that it can be discarded.
• If you decide to accept a damaged shipment without noting damage on the receipt, you must complete a freight claim listing any costs you incurred and attach any supporting documentation. You must submit the claim to the carrier yourself. Note: payment from the carrier without damages documented on the delivery receipt is highly unlikely.
• faces will not be responsible for any damage not clearly noted on the delivery receipt at the time of the delivery

PLEASE NOTE IF THIS IS AN ELECTRICAL SIGN THE FOLLOWING APPLIES: This sign is intended to be installed in accordance with the requirements of Article 600 of the National Electrical Code and/or other applicable local codes. This includes proper grounding and bonding of the sign.

PLEASE NOTE IF THIS IS A CABINET THE FOLLOWING APPLIES: The cabinet requires that a face be installed to meet UL requirements 40.1.12 or 40.1.13.
